Epstein Files Expose Star Names’ Shocking Lies
New documents from the Jeffrey Epstein files reveal that several prominent figures, including Howard Lutnick, Naomi Campbell, and Larry Summers, lied about their connections to the disgraced financier. Emails and records show these individuals had much closer ties to Epstein than they publicly admitted, contradicting their earlier statements.
Epstein Files Expose Star Names’ Shocking Lies
New documents from the Jeffrey Epstein files are revealing that many famous people lied about their connections to the disgraced financier. These revelations show that some well-known figures had much closer ties to Epstein than they publicly admitted. The files include emails and other records that contradict their earlier statements.
Howard Lutnick’s Island Visit
Howard Lutnick, the CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, had claimed he ended all contact with Epstein after a 2005 visit to his New York home. He stated the encounter made him so uncomfortable that he vowed never to be in the same room with Epstein again. Lutnick also said he and Epstein were neighbors in New York and cut ties in 2005, years before Epstein’s first sex crime conviction.
However, documents from a 2016 Senate hearing show a different story. Lutnick admitted that in December 2012, four years after Epstein was convicted, he visited Epstein’s private island.
He was with his wife, four children, their nannies, and another family with children. They had lunch on the island for about an hour.
Naomi Campbell’s Denials Unravel
Supermodel Naomi Campbell consistently said she only met Epstein socially and had no meaningful relationship with him. She stated she was unaware of his crimes and was sickened when she learned what he had done. Campbell’s representatives maintained she attended events only as a public figure.
But the 2016 DOJ files show hundreds of communications involving Campbell. These included details about her flights on Epstein’s private jet and invitations to major social events.
The files also show coordination for appearances with other celebrities. Some of these exchanges happened after Epstein’s 2008 conviction.
Larry Summers’ Close Ties Revealed
Former Treasury Secretary and Harvard President Larry Summers had described his relationship with Epstein as limited and mostly professional. He downplayed his connection to the financier.
However, newly released emails show a more involved picture. The correspondence between Summers and Epstein included personal matters and fundraising efforts.
Many of these emails were sent years after Epstein’s 2008 conviction. One exchange involved Epstein advising Summers on how to write a note to a romantic interest, suggesting it would be “bad form” not to do so face-to-face.
Additional messages show Epstein sending Summers unsolicited notes, sometimes with inappropriate remarks. After these emails became public, Summers expressed regret for staying in contact. He stepped down from the board of Open AI and announced plans to retire from teaching.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s Extended Contact
Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway initially said her interactions with Epstein were brief. She claimed she distanced herself from him once concerns about his conduct became known.
Later documents revealed their contact lasted much longer than she had stated. Emails show warm exchanges between the Princess and Epstein after his conviction.
She reportedly spent four days at his Miami Beach house. Her name appears over a thousand times in the documents, suggesting ongoing contact.
David Copperfield’s Contradicted Claims
Illusionist David Copperfield had described his relationship with Epstein as casual and brief. He allegedly performed magic tricks for Epstein and some of his victims at a 2016 dinner in New York.
However, files from Epstein’s archives suggest otherwise. Copperfield is mentioned in handwritten logs alongside photos with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell at private events.
Scheduling notes indicate he visited Epstein’s properties multiple times. These documents contradict his claims of only incidental contact.
Steven Tisch’s Deeper Involvement
Film producer and New York Giants co-owner Steven Tisch previously stated his interactions with Epstein were brief, mainly about movies and investments. He also said he never visited Epstein’s private island.
US government documents show a more extensive connection. Tisch appears in over 400 emails from 2013 alone, with Epstein arranging meetings and social introductions. In one exchange, Tisch asked Epstein for details about a “Ukrainian girl” he met at Epstein’s house, asking if she was a “pro or civilian.” Epstein replied that he did not like records of such conversations.
Richard Branson’s Casual Contact Questioned
Virgin Group founder Richard Branson insisted his interactions with Epstein were professional or limited to group social settings.
However, emails from September 2013 show Branson directly corresponding with Epstein about travel plans and mutual friends. They also made light-hearted references to “adult staff members.” These exchanges occurred years after Epstein’s conviction.
Peter Mandelson’s Personal Correspondence
British politician Peter Mandelson portrayed his connection to Epstein as purely social and professional, denying any knowledge of criminal behavior.
More personal and sustained correspondence has since been discovered. Documents include birthday greetings, personal letters, and financial exchanges.
Some suggest Mandelson may have shared sensitive economic or political information with Epstein during the 2008 financial crash. Mandelson denies any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, but the communications suggest a much closer relationship.
Elon Musk’s Party Inquiry
Tech billionaire Elon Musk has been vocal about never attending Epstein’s parties or visiting his island. He insists his interactions were minimal.
However, the newly released DOJ files show multiple email exchanges between Musk and Epstein from 2012 to 2014. In one exchange, Musk asked Epstein, “What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?” This was after Epstein was a convicted sex offender. While there’s no evidence Musk visited the island, the correspondence shows a more involved dialogue than he admitted.
Donald Trump’s Shifting Accounts
President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed he had little to do with Epstein and had a falling out with him. He gave different reasons for their split, including a real estate dispute and Epstein’s behavior at Mar-a-Lago.
However, records show Trump socialized with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s. Epstein remained a Mar-a-Lago member until 2007. According to a 2019 FBI interview summary, Trump allegedly told a former Palm Beach police chief in July 2006, just weeks after Epstein faced state charges, “Everyone has known he’s been doing this.” Trump has denied knowing about Epstein’s crimes before media coverage, but Rider said Trump was one of the first people to call when Epstein’s investigation became public.
