In contrast, other videos are secretly filmed and sent out using rare Starlink devices. These clips often reveal a different picture.

They show Iranians celebrating attacks or expressing defiance. They also capture instances of these individuals being threatened or attacked by the country’s security forces.

Seeking Truth in Disagreement and Agreement

By constantly monitoring both sets of sources, journalists can try to find the truth. When these two different realities agree on something, it is most likely accurate. The current situation shows that Iranians are experiencing significant hardship.

“People are not doing well. With the high prices and the rising inflation, we were just starting to make a living. Then the war began.

Now, anyone who sides with the enemy is seen not as a protester, but as an enemy. All our children are ready to pull the trigger.”
