He described Trump as a “demented narcissist” who “hates anybody who stands in opposition to him.” Cobb accused Trump of turning the Justice Department into a “revenge machine” and ruling the country in an “authoritarian manner.”

He attributed this to a “cowardly cabinet and even more cowardly Republicans in Congress.” Cobb called this situation a tragedy that Americans must confront. He urged people to focus on the loss of a hero like Mueller rather than the “despicable response of a demented president.”
