Officer Ambushed: Gun Violence Flares in D.C. Neighborhood
A U.S. Park Police officer was shot and wounded in what officials described as an ambush in Southeast D.C. while on duty. The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is receiving treatment. Authorities are actively searching for two suspects involved in the attack.
