Samson believes that negotiating with Russia is unlikely to yield meaningful results, likening it to negotiating with a terrorist state. He argues that Moscow’s demands are extreme, likely seeking complete control over Ukraine.

Any peace proposal that falls short of this will be rejected by Russia, regardless of flexibility shown by Ukraine or the West. He highlighted that Russia is increasingly weakened each day and has a history of prioritizing victory at any cost, even at the expense of its own people and humanity.
