Justice Department Shaken: AG Pam Bondi Out, Interim Head Named
In a significant shakeup at the Justice Department, President Trump has fired Attorney General Pam Bondi. This marks the second cabinet member dismissed by the president in less than a month. Sources indicate the President had grown increasingly frustrated with Bondi’s job performance, believing she did not fully implement his vision for the department. Bondi, a key enforcer for the President, led investigations into his political opponents, many of which have stalled or failed. Her handling of the Epstein files also drew heavy criticism.
Todd Blanch, Bondi’s deputy and former personal defense lawyer for the President, has been appointed interim head of the department. Blanch previously stated that the Justice Department had been purging agents and lawyers who investigated President Trump and praised Bondi for her strength.
Pentagon Shakeup: Top Army General Forced Out
Adding to the administration’s turmoil, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has removed the Army’s Chief of Staff, General Randy George. This move comes amid ongoing international tensions. Meanwhile, the President has posted videos of U.S. strikes and threatened further action against Iran if leaders refuse to negotiate. The situation in Iran also saw a strike on Israel.
Leaders from over 40 nations met to discuss reopening the Strait of Hormuz, a vital oil shipping route. The President had previously suggested the strait would open naturally at the war’s end or could be secured by allies.

Woods can be heard telling deputies he was just getting off the phone with President Trump. He was arrested for driving under the influence of an unknown substance.
During the sobriety tests, Woods appeared to struggle with instructions and mentioned having the hiccups. His manager was also seen requesting his golf clubs, including his prized putter, from investigators. Woods has since pleaded not guilty and is seeking treatment.
Doctor Testifies in Wife’s Attempted Murder Trial
A doctor accused of trying to kill his wife in Hawaii is now testifying in his own defense. Dr. Koenig claims his wife, Ariel, attacked him first with a rock on a trail. He denies any plan to kill her or throw her off a cliff. Prosecutors are questioning Koenig about spying on his wife’s texts and their turbulent relationship.
Ariel Koenig testified that the encounter was a vengeful attack, not self-defense. The state’s witnesses include Koenig’s 20-year-old son, who stated his father called him during the attack, claiming his wife had cheated and he tried to kill her. Jury deliberations are expected to begin soon.

Mission control recently woke the crew with music and they practiced manually flying their spacecraft. NASA is taking precautions by storing water in plastic bags due to a potential issue with the ship’s water system, though they believe the problem is fixed.

These claims focus on Baldoni allegedly waging a retaliatory campaign against Lively in the press after she raised concerns. Baldoni’s team expressed satisfaction with the ruling.
