Tiger’s Team Roars Into TGL Finals!

The vibes are awesome, and so is their game! Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links team is heading to the TGL finals after a thrilling victory. What a difference a year makes for this squad, showing off incredible competitive spirit to turn things around. Tiger himself is beaming with pride over how this group has come together. He mentioned how they’re not just great golfers but a good-looking crew who have a blast playing together.

“The vibes are awesome and the text exchanges just the way we support and needle each other and we just have a great time and it’s a great group of guys,” Tiger explained. He compared the team dynamic to a fun boys’ trip, where nobody wants to leave because the bond is so strong. The timing couldn’t have been better, especially with a surprise FaceTime from Ash during a press conference, showing just how connected everyone is.

Energy and Strategy Fueling Success

Tom, another key player, feels like his energy is a big part of the team’s success. He focuses on supporting everyone, stressing that it’s a team effort on every hole. “I feel like our team is really, you know, every every whole one is a team effort. It’s not a single man that’s carrying the team, it’s everyone has to perform,” Tom said. He added that standing where they are now, after facing Boston, feels amazing.

Max highlighted the team’s skill with ‘the hammer,’ a powerful strategic tool in TGL. They’re used to being behind and facing tough situations, often called ‘hammer hell.’ “So we know what to do to make the other team uncomfortable if we are randomly ahead,” Max noted. He described making a clutch putt when the hammer was on as a highlight of the night, a moment where someone had to step up. “He man, he put his big boy pants on and hooped that thing and that I think that was uh kind of a crushing blow to them,” Max added.

Stepping Up Under Pressure

Max also talked about how everyone seems to step up when needed. He finds it fun to watch Auction make crucial putts, Tom hole out shots, and even the celebrations afterward. It’s just a great atmosphere to be around. He remembered when Auction first joined, expressing frustration about losing, making their current success even sweeter.

Auction shared his experience with pressure, noting the difference between playing in regular tournaments and TGL. He admitted to feeling incredibly nervous before a big putt at Bay Hill, even texting Max for advice. “Any advice for about like to throw up. I was going to throw up the whole day,” Auction confessed. However, he finds the nerves in TGL are different, more of an ‘amped up’ feeling. “When you have those putts to kind of continue the these holes or these hammers, you know, it’s it’s massive and you feel the pressure you feel the weight of the guys,” he explained. Despite the pressure, he loves it and is proud to be trusted by his partners. He’s looking forward to the finals.

Looking Ahead to the Championship

The finals are set for next week, a two-night event. The championship will be decided Monday and Tuesday. If one team sweeps the first two matches, they’ll be crowned champions. If they split the matches, a deciding game will be played on Tuesday night. Fans are eager to see if Tiger himself might make an appearance on the course, though he playfully deflected questions about playing, confirming he’ll be there supporting the team.

The Jupiter Links team, along with the Los Angeles team, will battle for the TGL title. The excitement is building for what promises to be an intense and fun-filled championship conclusion to the TGL’s second season.
