We haven’t decimated them in the way that we would like to,” she explained. He couldn’t fund Medicare or Medicaid because he has to fund the DOD,” she stated, noting the proposed $1.5 trillion defense budget.

She also spoke out against ICE’s operations in New Jersey, criticizing their methods, which she described as including “no warrants busting through people’s car windows.” Sherrill is actively opposing ICE’s plan to open a large detention facility in the state, calling it unfit for human habitation. “We’re fighting them.
