Farming Sim Town Grows: Main Street & Dairy Farm Added!
The virtual town is buzzing with activity in the latest episode of our Farming Simulator build! We’re expanding our growing community, which still needs a name, by adding a charming Main Street USA section and a much-needed dairy farm. This episode, number six, shows off some serious progress as we bring more life to our digital landscape.
Main Street USA Takes Shape
Cruising down what’s becoming Main Street, we’ve got new shops popping up right next to familiar names like CVS and Auto Zone. The goal is to create that classic small-town feel with corner shops and unique businesses. We’re also trying to add sidewalks, though the creator admits it’s a bit of a challenge and asks for viewer tips. A gas station has been placed near the Auto Zone, making perfect sense for the area. Plus, a new service area is ready for all the delivery trucks heading to these new businesses.
The roads are being extended to connect different parts of town, and a new neighborhood is taking shape with a cul-de-sac and several houses. We’re leaving some blocks open for light commercial use, blending shops with homes to create a smooth flow into Main Street. It’s all about making the town feel connected and lived-in.
A New Dairy Farm is Udderly Essential
Farming is, of course, central to the game, and a new dairy farm is being planned. This farm is crucial for making the town truly functional. Placed in the top corner, it connects to a rural road that will also lead out towards the state park. The creator is carefully planning the layout, making sure the roads make sense for the large farming equipment used in the game. This is a lesson learned from previous builds; roads need to be wide enough for tractors and trailers to pass easily, something the creator admits was a mistake in an earlier design.
The plan is to get at least two fields ready on this new farm. For now, we’re plowing them out, with seeding and rock removal possibly coming in the next episode. The creator notes that it’s easy to get lost in building the town, but sometimes, you just have to get back to the farming!
State Park and Future Plans
Beyond the immediate town expansion, a large RV park and state park project is well underway in the woods. This area is seen as a major draw for tourism, which will help the town thrive. Future plans include decorating the state park with things like playgrounds, basketball courts, and hiking paths to make it a destination for visitors. The creator is excited about bringing this area to life.
Looking ahead, the creator is considering adding more rural houses and possibly other small businesses around the new farm. The success of the dairy farm will depend on how it fits into the town’s overall needs as it continues to grow. This sixth episode marks significant progress, with Main Street, downtown businesses, and a key farm now in place. The large RV and state park projects are also moving forward, promising even more exciting developments.
Appreciation and What’s Next
The creator thanks the viewers for their likes, comments, and subscriptions, noting the positive feedback since returning to the series. Building these towns has been a blast, and the community’s support is greatly appreciated. While role-playing content is coming soon, the creator is currently on an RV trip from California to New York, which will influence future uploads. For now, the focus remains on expanding and perfecting this Farming Simulator town.
