Comedian’s Bold Take: Black Women’s Moves Lead to Submission
Comedian Mark Normand dropped a bombshell insight on Club Shay Shay this week, sharing what he believes is a key difference in intimacy with Black women compared to white women. His comparison focused on a specific physical act, leading to a surprising conclusion about who ends up in control.
The Hair Pull Mistake
Normand started with a humorous anecdote about a mistake he made early on. He admitted to pulling hair with white women, a move he found enjoyable. However, he quickly learned this was a misstep with Black women, specifically mentioning the impact of braids. “No, the braids. It was a mistake,” he stated, emphasizing that this action had a high cost.
Seeking the Difference
The comedian explained that he had asked fellow comedian Gary Owen about the differences he observed. Owen, who is Black, was asked about the major distinctions between dating white and Black women. Normand posed the question, seeking clarity on what men should expect.
‘Gyration’ is the Key Word
Normand’s answer boiled down to one word: “gyration.” He described a unique hip movement that Black women on top can perform, which he found overwhelming. “I think a black woman on top can do a hip thing that that white guys aren’t ready for, or at least I wasn’t,” he explained. He likened the experience to being so taken aback that one might “spaz out.” The “gyration is unreal,” he added, highlighting the intensity of the experience.
Submission vs. Domination
This led to a discussion about submission and domination in relationships. Normand felt that with white women, the dynamic usually involved the white man doing most of the dominating, and the white woman submitting. However, his experience with Black women felt reversed. “I felt like I was submitting with the black lady like she was uh working me, which I loved,” he confessed. He clearly enjoyed this shift in power, finding it exciting.
The Approach Matters
The conversation then shifted to how to approach Black women. Normand admitted that his usual pickup lines, which worked in the past before social media, wouldn’t fly. “I had to have some rapport. I couldn’t just go up cold because I’m too white and nerdy and whatever,” he said. He found success by first getting a group laughing and then delivering a specific kind of line.
A Little ‘Ball Busting’ Goes a Long Way
He revealed his strategy involved “a little ball busting.” Normand believes that Black women appreciate humor, and a bit of playful teasing can be very effective. “I find that a little ball busty for the black one. A little little… Yeah, they they got to be funny,” he elaborated. He concluded that this type of playful banter, which he described as “a little pokey,” goes a long way with Black women.
What This Means Going Forward
Normand’s candid comments offer a humorous, yet insightful, look at perceived differences in dating dynamics. His emphasis on “gyration” and a more playful, teasing approach suggests a different energy in intimacy that some men might find particularly engaging. While his observations are personal, they tap into broader conversations about cultural nuances in relationships. His advice to other men is to be funny and to understand that a direct, cold approach might not always be the most successful method when trying to connect with Black women.
Normand’s insights highlight the importance of understanding and adapting to different communication and intimacy styles in dating. His willingness to share his personal experiences, even the awkward ones, provides a unique perspective for his audience.
The comedian’s bold statements are sure to spark further discussion, offering a lighthearted yet thought-provoking angle on dating and cultural differences.
